Gravity Mold

In terms of Gravity Mold, our success proves us right: More than 75 of these engraving machines are already used by our customers worldwide. Why? It can be used to produce molds in a digital, efficient process. In a quality that always remains the same – wherever the machine is used in the world.

With the Gravity Mold, design transfers of up to 1,440 dpi are possible. The machine uses a high-resolution multi-jet spray head to heat a liquid, etch-resistant medium to 85 to 125 degrees Celsius and partially sprays it onto a foil or paper. In a sophisticated transfer process, the foil is then inserted into the mould with the printed side down and rubbed off. The mold can then be etched at 40 to 45 degrees Celsius.

Our self-developed wax UV paste does not only provide excellent adhesive and transfer properties. In addition, it proves to be very acid-resistant, so that different acids can be used.

This unit is now as a rotary drum unit available.
