Cosmos Laser Flexo
Easy handling, compact design, fast and high-quality engravings: This is what distinguishes our Cosmos Laser Flexo. With either fiber laser or C02 technology with multi-beam technology, the machine is suitable for dry offset engraving or label printing as well as 3D engraving and packaging printing of EPDM plates, sleeves and cylinders. 100 L/cm can be realized with up to 5,080 dpi.
We have the right machine version for every customer: with 500 or up to 1,500 watts, with single or double beam technology. For customers who want to engrave silicones or other non-fiber materials, we offer a 500-1.000 Watt Sealed C02 laser that produces fine engravings up to 2,540 dpi. Like all our laser engraving machines, this is equipped with an acousto-optical modulator (AOM). With this technology, the finest engraving results can be achieved at high switching speeds.
Undercut, variable shoulder settings, the intelligent Easy Template software, a user-friendly interface and many other software tools simplify the handling of the machine. Individual requirements, such as the integration of the respective national language into the control panel, can also be implemented. The production of our hard- and software is possible in our factory in Krefeld, Germany.

Cosmos Flexo Pharmacy
The COSMOS Flexo Pharmacy has been developed for the application of printing on aluminum foils. Special printing machines are used in the market for this purpose, which fix the printing plate by holes of perforations on the sides of the printing plates.
We have taken over this application for the engraving machine, so that a fast mounting and a perfectly positioned engraving can be carried out.
With 5.080dpi and 1.000 Watt laser power the plates are engraved according to customer specific configuration.
We will customize the cylinder to your needs.
Cost-effective printing plates can also be purchased pre-made from us or other suppliers.

Cosmos Laser Embossing
As a Fiber laser of the latest generation, our Cosmos Laser Embossing is suitable for the ablation of black etch resist for embossing roller engraving. The etch resist can be burnt away with 4 or 8 beams and a resolution of up to 5,080 dpi. The machine enables multiple engravings by means of a camera system, with the help of which the cylinder can be clamped precisely for subsequent engravings.
And these engravings are highly precise: Our engraving machines are equipped with an acousto-optical deflector (AOD) which regulates the switch ability of the laser beam. The system also scores highly in terms of cost: there is no need for external gas. In addition, maintenance costs are significantly lower thanks to Fiber technology than with conventional CO2 laser engraving systems.

Cosmos Flexo Label
With a Swiss packaging printer, a 4.0 software adaptation of the Cosmos Laser 800 was incorporated into the work flow of this innovative company. This opens up new avenues in packaging printing. A combination of conventional engraving in the form of sleeves, but also plate engraving. The plates can be glued or fixed using the Twin-Lock system.

Gravity flat
With the Gravity Flat, embossing plates can be produced quickly and precisely in multiple stages. For this purpose, a liquid, etch-resistant medium is heated with a high-resolution multi-jet spray head and partially jetted onto the cylinder at up to 12m² / hour. Noses, faults or progressions? Nothing to report! The pressure drop solidifies as soon as it hits the medium. Only a finely defined pressure point remains on the plate. The plate is then etched and cleaned before the next layer is applied.
Design transfers of up to 1,440 dpi are no problem, nor are multiple etchings. This is because the plates can be clamped into the machine with multiple precise positions using a camera system. The mechanics of the vacuum table can be moved with an accuracy of just a few micrometers, so that even large plates can be positioned easily, quickly and accurately.
Our know-how is convincing: almost all leading manufacturers worldwide use our system technology. Often, even several systems are in operation in one plant. The respective machine size can be adapted to individual customer requirements.

Gravity Rotary
Larger, faster, Gravity Rotary: With our high-end engraving machine, rollers can be produced quickly, precisely and in several stages. A roller of 200 cm length and 64 cm circumference, for example, is imaged in just 25 minutes and can then be etched.
Thanks to the high-resolution multi-jet spray head, designs can be transferred up to a resolution of 1,440 dpi – without noses, errors or gradients. 10 etchings and more are no problem for this engraving machine: Our customers use the Gravity Rotary for complex reliefs and structures. Thanks to a highly developed camera system, the cylinder can be clamped into the machine with multiple positions for further engraving.
The machine size is based on the individual wishes and requirements of our customers.

Gravity Mold
In terms of Gravity Mold, our success proves us right: More than 75 of these engraving machines are already used by our customers worldwide. Why? It can be used to produce molds in a digital, efficient process. In a quality that always remains the same – wherever the machine is used in the world.
With the Gravity Mold, design transfers of up to 1,440 dpi are possible. The machine uses a high-resolution multi-jet spray head to heat a liquid, etch-resistant medium to 85 to 125 degrees Celsius and partially sprays it onto a foil or paper. In a sophisticated transfer process, the foil is then inserted into the mould with the printed side down and rubbed off. The mold can then be etched at 40 to 45 degrees Celsius.
Our self-developed wax UV paste does not only provide excellent adhesive and transfer properties. In addition, it proves to be very acid-resistant, so that different acids can be used.
This unit is now as a rotary drum unit available.
